The 2017 vintage in the Barossa saw cool, wet conditions during December, January and February resulted in a very late vintage. Warm, mild conditions through March & April combined with excellent canopy density allowed the fruit to attain excellent flavour ripeness while maintaining good levels of natural acidity.
TASTING NOTES
Bouquet: Elegantly aged and yet still vibrant and youthful. With hits of flint, toasted hazel nut, & citrus’ that of Kaffir lime, lemon and grapefruit skin, all while still showing a fresh floral lift and stone fruits.
Palate: With its acid having integrated well from time in bottle. The wine has an elegant structure that softly flows over the entire palate while still have the drive and acid line that extends the length and leaves you wanting more. Flavours of lemon curd, zesty lime & stone fruits persist throughout, finishing with a salivating minerality
