Shipping Information
Any order below $150 attracts a $15 shipping fee
Distinction Wines delivers only to Australian addresses.
Orders are available in full cases only.
Deliveries are distributed by Australia Post.
As some offices/sites do not accept personal wine deliveries, please confirm with your reception team before placing your order.
Orders are processed on a daily basis during business hours (except over weekends and public holidays) and in busy periods on Saturdays.
Please allow 7-10 working days from time of final payment and confirmation for your order to be delivered to your door.
Please check you have provided correct and full information for delivery before submitting your order to assist the Distinction Wines team in getting your order to you.
Please be aware, Australia Post does not permit delivery of your order to minors and reserves the right to request a valid ID as proof of age on delivery.
We understand it's not always possible to have someone there to accept your Distinction Wines delivery. If there is no-one in attendance at the address to accept your wine delivery, the parcel/s will be 'sorry we missed you' carded by Australia Post and you will be able to collect your order from the nominated Australia Post post office.

At Distinction Wines, we prioritise the safe delivery of your wine, especially during warm weather months. To ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, we’ve implemented the following shipping practices:
- Temperature-Controlled Storage
All wine is stored in our temperature-controlled warehouse, ensuring that it is kept at optimal conditions until it is dispatched. - Shipping Schedule
Orders are typically dispatched in the late afternoon, allowing them to travel overnight. This helps minimise exposure to heat during the shipping process and ensures your wine arrives as fresh as possible. - Delivery Instructions
To maintain the quality of your wine, we strongly recommend that you do not allow the carrier to leave the package unattended. Once the package is left outside, we cannot guarantee the conditions in which it will be stored, especially in warm weather. Ensuring someone is available to accept the delivery will help avoid potential spoilage from exposure to temperature extremes.
