TASTING NOTES
AROMA - Delicate nose showing subtle kaffir notes, fresh lime and wet slate.
TASTE - Palate has pure lime character which brings a brightness to the palate. Mineral acidity provides great direction and highlights a kaffir lime note. Lovely orange blossom florals highlight the premium parcels of Eden Valley Riesling that create this wine.

Dave Brookes - Halliday Wine Companion 2023
"When I lived in the Eden Valley, one of my favourite things to do was drive my ute up to the viewing platform next to the 1962-planted Steingarten vineyard, set up my barbecue, drink beer and watch the sunset. It's a pretty special site: east facing, clos-like and one with a track record of serious wines. The ’22 shows the site at its rapier-like finest. A picture of fruit purity, velocity and precision, pure and limey with a crushed quartz backbone and a crystalline line of acidity zipping things along. Great drinking now, but it will age beautifully."

Tyson Stelzer 2024
"Pale colour. Instantly shows class with beautifully perfumed kaffir lime, lemon curd, grapefruit and slatery aromas with a hint of bath salts. Linear fresh wine with pure lemon, lime and slatery flavours. Lovely fruit volume, the wine finishes with a talc-y phenolic twist."
