This exciting pack of Rolf Binders famous reds includes -

2 x bottles Rolf Binder Heinrich Shiraz Mataro Grenache 2020 – Barossa Valley: Fruit for this wine is sourced from various Binder Estate vineyards in different areas of the Barossa. The major component, Shiraz, is a vineyard selection, including some fruit from Eden Valley. The Grenache is grown on the Western Ridge and the Mataro is from dry grown, bush vines planted in the 1880s (the Pressings of which are used in our Bull’s Blood wine).

2 x bottles Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz 2022 - Barossa Valley: This 2022 Heysen Shiraz displays ripe, juicy wild berry and oak spice flavours with well-rounded tannins and a soft, lengthy finish. A luscious, full-bodied wine that still maintains a beautiful sense of elegance. This classic Barossa Shiraz will provide pleasure for many years to come if cellared with care.

2 x bottles Rolf Binder Bull's Blood Shiraz Mataro 2020 – Barossa Valley: Wine delivers a densely fruited mouthfeel. Lots of dark fruits such as black boysenberry, cherry and blueberry give the wine a beautiful sense of fruit sweetness. Some vanillin oak, mocha and dark chocolate add to the complex palate. Classic black pepper, some rose petal and black olive show up as well. Dense and firm tannins cover the back palate and pave the ground for a long savory finish. 94 Halliday Points Dave Brookes Published 08 April 2024

94 Halliday Points "I remember going to the Rolf Binder cellar door for the first time and asking to taste the Bulls Blood. Mrs Binder looked at me through squinty eyes and said, "Are you going to buy anything?" I loved that. I ended up doing vintage there in 2005, and Mrs Binder made the best Hungarian goulash for the cellar hands, but she had attitude – just like the wine. Deeply coloured and packed with black cherry, blueberry and macerated plum fruits. Oodles of spice, dark chocolate, vanillin oak, nutmeg, olive tapenade and earth. Toothsome with a mildly broody edge, savoury palate shape, fine grained tannins and a plume of spiced black cherry fruits on the finish." - Dave Brookes Published 08 April 2024
