The story of Grant Burge is one of the past, the present, and the future. Planting their roots in the Barossa Valley in 1865, the Burges began as a family of devoted vignerons. For five generations, they spent their days toiling on the land, understanding the soil, and from it, growing grapes that would become premium wines of today.

TASTING NOTES

Fruity Complex
files/slider-icon.png
A full-bodied rich Shiraz that typifies icon Barossa Shiraz. NOSE - Dense lift of liquorice and fresh cut fennel with overlays of allspice and caraway. Floral lifts intertwined adds an extra level of class without being obtuse. PALATE - Sweet fruits of blueberry, blackberry and damson plum with a layer of red cherry fruit overlay liquorice and milk chocolate. The chocolaty nature of the wine melds well with the density of tannins allowing a silky to velvet like texture that persists long after the wine is consumed.
