Whiskers Blake was a roguish man who worked in Hardys Tintara vineyard around the turn of the last century. His job was to scare birds from the grapes with an old 10-gauge shotgun however he also took it upon himself to regularly test the products.
TASTING NOTES
Produces rich aged rich fruit nuances, ripe fruit lifts supported by coffee, chocolate, raisins and nutty aromas. This classic Australian Tawny exhibits a smooth palate and mellow with good length and a dry finish. Classic rancio characters are also evident.
