Pale straw in colour, the nose has herbaceous notes that are underpinned by ripe grapefruit, passionfruit and blackcurrant leaf aromas.
TASTING NOTES
An elegant and juicy Sauvignon Blanc, with lemon and lime citrus and a hint of mineral acidity which adds texture and a subtle savoury quality. The finish is dry and refreshing.
It was a challenging growing season, with inclement weather during flowering. However, as summer rolled on, conditions improved and the summer months were hot and dry – perfect for ripening fruit. Harvest came around early, and when the fruit was picked it was perfectly ripe, brimming with those quintessential Woolshed flavours of grapefruit and pithy lemon.
