A wine that displays a bouquet of Raspberry, cherry and blood plum framed by dark chocolate, charred oak and hints of bay leaf. The palate is voluptuous, juicy red berry, dark chocolate and savoury spice flavours with soft flowing tannins, smooth and balanced.
TASTING NOTES
The original European settlers in the Barossa township of Tanunda, where St Hallett winery resides, were known as Blockheads. The Blockhead range is designed to tell their story to a new generation, combining over 70 years of St Hallett winemaking expertise with the fruitful drinkability of contemporary Australian shiraz.
